Suggested itineraries and packages

These packages can be replicated in any price range using hotels that will fit into your budget. The Land and Sea page will have more detailed information about each destination, tour and attraction listed below.

3 Nights/4 Days- San Pedro, Ambergris Caye
Day 1-Arrive and transfer to your hotel. How about a night snorkel?
Day 2-1/2 day snorkel trip to Hol Chan Marine Park and Shark Ray Alley. Rent a golf cart and explore the island. Catch a water taxi at night and ride under the stars to a wonderful restaurant up the coast.
Day 3-Discover diving? Yes, you can. A short course will put you 40 feet under that day. Fishing? Kayaking? Sailing? A day trip to the mainland to visit ruins, caves or horseback riding?
Day 4-You may have time this morning for another snorkel, jet Ski or windsurfing before your flight departs.

3 Nights/4 Days- Cayo
Day 1-Arrive and transfer to your hotel. How about a jungle night walk?
Day 2-˝ day each of caving or horseback riding?
Day 3-Full day guided tour of Tikal or Caracol ruins?
Day 4-Depart the lodge by canoe. Your driver and luggage will meet you in San Ignacio town for the return trip to Belize City.

3 Nights/4 Days- Placencia
Day 1-Arrive and transfer to your hotel.
Day 2-Full day snorkel or two tank dive trip based on a coconut shaded, coral encrusted island on the reef.
Day 3-Full day guided boat trip up Monkey River to see howler monkeys, crocs, manatees and water birds.
Day 4-Early morning kayak on the lagoon or sea before your flight departs.

3 Nights/4 Days- Belize City
Day 1-Arrive and transfer to your hotel.
Day 2-A full day snorkel trip? Or river cave tubing, zip line and the Belize Zoo?
Day 3-A full day guided tour of Lamanai ruins to see howler and spider monkeys, crocs, manatees and water birds.
Day 4-You might have time to visit the Museum of Belize or the Belize Zoo before your flight departs.

7 Nights/8 Days-Beach and Bush, Cayo and San Pedro, Ambergris Caye
Day 1-Arrive and transfer to your Cayo hotel
Day 2-Full day caved trip or ˝ day cave trip with horse back riding in the afternoon.
Day 3-Full day guided tour of Caracol and the Mountain Pine Ridge or Tikal ruins
Day 4-Canoe downstream to San Ignacio town. Your driver and luggage will meet you for your transfer to the Municipal airport in Belize City. You can stop en route and visit the Belize Zoo or Museum of Belize. Catch a twenty minute flight to San Pedro, Ambergris. How about a night snorkel?
Day 5-1/2 day snorkel trip to Hol Chan Marine Park and Shark Ray Alley. Rent a golf cart or bike to explore the island.
Day 6-Fishing, kayaking, windsurfing, jet skiing? Discover diving? You can and be forty feet under today.
Day 7-Your last day, how about some relaxing in a hammock by the pool? No? One last snorkel trip? Day 8-Depart

7 Nights/8 Days- Cayo and Tikal, Guatemala
Day 1-Arrive and transfer to your hotel. Visit the Belize Zoo en route
Day 2-Canoe downstream to San Ignacio town. Have lunch in a colorful local restaurant in town and catch up on all our local gossip. 1/2 day of horses.
Day 3-Caving trip, both easy and challenging, both full and 1/2 day.
Day 4-Full day guided tour of Caracol ruins, driving through the Mountain Pine Ridge.
Day 5-Would you like to visit a formidable botanic garden, butterfly breeding farm, a rainforest medical trail, or a natural history museum?
Day 6-Depart lodge for the two plus hour drive to Tikal for a guided tour of the ruins. Spend the night in Tikal Park or on the nearby island village of Flores and get a taste of Guatemala.
Day 7-Boat tour of the huge lagoon, visit Maya villages or full day guided tour of Ceibal ruins. Day 8-Fly back to Belize International from the Flores airport.

7 Nights/8 Days-Placencia
Day 1-Arrive and transfer to your hotel.
Day 2-Full day snorkel or two tank dive trip based on a coconut shaded, coral encrusted island on the reef. How about a Discover Diving course and be forty feet underwater today?
Day 3-Full day boat trip up Monkey River to see howler monkeys, crocs, manatees and water birds.
Day 4-Fishing, sailing or kayaking today?
Day 5-Full day guided hiking in the 102,000 acre Jaguar Preserve (Cockscomb Basin). Hike jungle trails with your Maya guide who will ID flora and fauna. Picnic lunch and swimming at a waterfall. River tubing.
Day 6-Full day guided tour of Lubaantun and Nim Li Punit ruins in the Maya villages in the remote Toledo district. Or Nim Li Punit ruins and a cave trip with swimming.
Day 7-More snorkeling or diving? What about windsurfing? Biking? Or resting?
Day 8-Depart

10 Nights/11 Days- San Pedro, Ambergris, Cayo and Placencia
Day 1-Arrive and transfer to your hotel

Day 3-Depart San Pedro for transfer to Cayo. Stop en route and visit the Belize Zoo. Overnight in Cayo.

Day 6-Guided tour of the scenic Mountain Pine Ridge
Day 7-Depart Cayo for return to Belize City and fly to Placencia or drive direct from Cayo to Placencia. Overnight in Placencia.
Day 8-Full day snorkel or two tank dive trip based on a coconut shaded coral encrusted island on the reef
Day 9-Full day boat trip up Monkey River to see howler monkeys, crocs, manatees and water birds.
Day 10-Full day guided hiking in the Jaguar Preserve/Cockscomb Basin? Visit the ruins in the remote Maya villages of Toledo? Rest and relax?
Day 11-Depart.
